During my final years of school I was part of an exiting student-company called “Know It”, which won the “Company of the Year 2006″ award from Junior-Achievement Young-Enterprise Europe. Great time!

I participated in the Munich Half-Marathon 2010 and finished with a time of 1:37:13.

If I wouldn’t study Computer Science I might have decided to study International Relations. I am a regular reader of Foreign Policy, SPIEGEL’s Foreign Policy section, NYT’s Global Edition, AlJazeera English and other news sources with a focus on international affairs and foreign policy.

Apart from that I think epistemology is one of the most interesting topics and it should be of interest to anyone working in science in particular, but everyone else as well. Not only can the history of it be traced back to the Greeks, but the topics considered still matter very much (and maybe even more so) in today’s world. There are many aspects of it which I am only beginning to learn about.
